I submit this Code to you for consideration and discussion.
Code I: The Great Offices of Atlantis
The Founder
1. The Founder Nation exists to keep the region secure against external threats.
2. The Founder Nation will, unless called to do so by the King of Atlantis, not make any administrative actions except as required to keep the region secure from external threats.
3. The holder of the Founder Nation will, as far as possible, ensure there is a process for succession of the Founder Nation to a suitable candidate.
The World Assembly Delegate
4. The WA Delegate is the region's representative to the World Assembly.
5. Any nation may seek to become World Assembly Delegate and there shall be no endorsement cap.
6. Should the WA Delegacy be taken through means of external invasion of subterfuge, the Founder shall expel the Delegate.
The King of Atlantis
7. The King of Atlantis is the Head of the Region and principle executive magistrate.
8. The King of Atlantis, therefore, serves as Chief-Executive, Chief-Priest, Chief-Lawgiver, Chief-Judge and the Commander-in-Chief, except where the King delegates such responsibilities to other positions.
9. The King of Atlantis shall instruct the founder upon the appointment and dismissal of other Regional Officers.
10. Any player that holds the WA Delegacy and has done for a consecutive period of sixty days, and is a Prince of Atlantis, may challenge the sitting King for the throne, triggering an election to take place within 30 days at the King's pleasure. The election will take place on the regional forum and will last seven days, requiring a simple majority to declare a winner.
