I've been working on remaking the map and here is the draft I have so far. I have used Azgaar's fantasy map generator, but you will probably notice it is the same map as we already have. I took the image of Marie Byrd's original map, plus the additions I have made over the years, and fed it into the generator which made a height map out of it, making it not too different. The functionality ongoing with the generator, however, is much better and will make editing the map in future much easier. It has also given the map a more fantasy feel, i think, which seems more in keeping with how our map should be. My aim is to make an actual continent of Atlantis with far more detail than the island that was just stuck onto the map before. The issue at the moment is size. The map as it is now is around 2450 miles wide, just a tad bigger than the Mediterranean, and occupies around 30 - 50 degrees latitude. I'm happy with that latitude, but I think our fantasy version of the Mediterranean should be around the same size. Azgaar doesn't allow changes to scale, which means either ignoring it's scale, which would be a pity as it would mean we can't use some of the functionality, having a Mediterranean around half the width or creating a separate map for Atlantis, which can then be displayed next to one another. I'm thinking the latter of these options at the moment, in which case I would extend the eastern half of the map to join up with the West, creating a true Mediterranean style area. Attachments:

This is just a random map I am uploading to see how big it is on phones. If this size map works, the scale would allow a map around 25% of the world. That is from the East of Syria stretching right across to just touch the shores of the Eastern United States, and from the Southern border of Morocco all the way up to the northernmost point of Norway.
