The Commonwealth Charter allows for the Head of the Commonwealth to form Commonwealth Groups. These Groups are able to choose a Chairperson to sit on the Co-Ordinating Committee. Instead of me deciding what Groups should be formed, I am going to let people create their own. Your 'group' doesn't have to be called a Group, but can be called anything. Likewise, you don't have to call your representative on the Co-Ordinating Committee a 'Chairperson', but that is what we will call them in the Committee. In order to create a group, you just need to do the following: - Firstly, form your own group in a thread or sub-forum.
- Establish who your members are, you need to be able to show that you have enough Members to meet the threshold. Members that count toward the threshold must have an account on this forum and have been active within the past month.
- Let me know that you have created the Group and meet the Membership requirements.
- Tell me who your 'Chairperson' is.
In order to be given Recognised Commonwealth Group status, your group needs to have 3 Members. (Please note that this number will rise in the future as the Commonwealth gets bigger).
Groups that exist to make a profit (businesses, for example) will not be given recognised status, though that doesn't stop a group that represents businesses (so long as it doesn't make a profit itself) being given recognised status.

What happens if the group begins with enough members, but then dips below the threshold?

What happens if the group begins with enough members, but then dips below the threshold? Groups wont lose their recognised status stright away, there will be some grace period. Though if a Group reduces to just one member then I think they will lose their status automatically. Of course, if a group loses it's recognised status, it can still continue acting in the same way as a group and reapply for recognised status when it reaches the threshold again. I forgot to mention in the OP (i will update it now), Groups that exist to make a profit (i.e businesses) will not be given recognised status. But a group that represents businesses (that doesn't make money) could be given recognised status.
