Your characters can pick up Traits based on things you do in roleplay or decisions you make. Traits can have effects on your scores and have other serious conseqences. You can get rid of negative traits by seriously roleplaying your character to overcome them.
Health Traits:
Depressed - All scores reduce by 1 every month. 5% combat penalty.
Drunk - Wealth reduces by 2 every month. One-off faith reduction by 3. 10% combat penalty
Lunatic - This is world of brutal power struggles, so lunatics really don't suffer a penlty.
Maimed - Seriously injured and unlikely to recover. 30% combat penalty. Power reduction of 2 per month.
Possessed - A demon inhabits this characters mind, or at least thats what people say about you. 5% combat bonus
Grotesquely scarred - After being wounded. The City fears your grotesue appearance. 10% combat bonus
Stressed - 10% combat penalty. Reduction of 1 wealth per month.
Wounded - 15% combat penalty.
Sick - Can happen randomly but is more likely the older your character gets. Can also happen after being wounded or if you are a drunk or if you are poisoned.
General Traits
Bastard - Power reduces 1 per month. Popularity increases 1 per month. Cannot inherit titles. 10% Combat Bonus.
Pregnant - Has a chance of happening to a female character if she has a lover. 50% combat penalty.
Poseidon's Wrath - Rare trait to a character that is honoured by both the lords and the priests. 20% combat Bonus, Faith Increase of 3 per month.
Kinslayer - killing someone from your own House. All scores decrease by 2 per month.
Kingslayer - Killing the King or Queen. Reduces all socres by 2 per month.
Heretic - 3 Faith Reduction per month. Triggered by characters that are widely known or suspected to be heretics or whom have achieved heretical reform.
Infidel - 3 Faith Reduction per month. Someone who does not follow the Atlantian Religion.
