Our Party Officers are as follows:
Party Leader: lemmingtopias
Our Party Leader is the public face of our campaigns and the Surge candidate for the Head of the Commonwealth elections. During periods where the Party Leader is also the Head of the Commonwealth, he is suspended from speaking or voting in Party Decisions.
Party President: Felvor
Our Party President is responsible for the general day-to-day management of the Party, including enforcing Party Rules and disciplining those who break them. The Party President is also the Head of the Surge Group in the Commonwealth Senate and thus the Surge candidate for the position of Commonwealth President.
Party Secretary: adreamersworld
Our Party Secretary manages communication between the Party and its members and oversees the process of drafting Party Manifestos. She also supports Party Candidates in their electoral campaigns. The Party Secretary is the Surge Candidate for the position of Commonwealth Secretary.
Party Chairman: naruto
Our Party Chairman chairs Party Meetings and facilitates compromise and consensus in Party decision making. The Party Chairman also oversees the Surge Chairpersons of Commonwealth Groups and is the Surge Candidate for the position of Commonwealth Chairperson.
Selection of Party Officers and Candidates
Senatorial Candidates
Any Party Member may put themselves forward to stand as Surge candidate in a Senatorial Selection. The party leadership will choose two of the applicants as Candidates. The Party Membership will vote to choose a winner. Incumbent Senators will be automatically be selected to defend their seat. If an incumbent Senator's seat is destroyed, the Party President will unilaterally appoint her as Surge Candidate for another seat.
Spokespersons
Any Party Member may put themselves forward to stand as Surge spokesperson in a Commonwealth Group. The party leadership will choose two of the applicants as Candidates. The Party Membership will vote to choose a winner. The Party spokesperson be the Surge Candidate in the next Election for Group Chair. Unless the spokesperson wins the election, her term will end and a new spokesperson will be elected.
Party Chairman
The Party Chairman is elected prior to each Commonwealth Convention. Any Surge Chair, spokesperson or Senator may nominate any Chair to be candidate. The two nominees with the most nominations are voted on by the Party Membership.
Party Secretary
Any Member that has served as Commonwealth Chairperson after being elected as a Surge Candidate, and serves as a Surge Senator may stand as Candidate for Party Secretary. The Party Chairs and Spokespersons choose two candidates to be put to a Member Vote. If the Party Secretary fails to be elected in a Commonwealth Secretary Vote, she will face a Vote of Confidence, requiring a majority in favour to retain her Office.

If there is a vacancy for Party President, the Party Secretary will face a Member Vote on whether to promote her to Party President. If she loses the vote, the Surge Senators will choose two of their number to stand as candidates in a Member Vote. If the Party President fails to be elected in a Commonwealth President Vote, she will face a Vote of Confidence, requiring a majority in favour to retain her Office.

If she loses the vote, the Party Secretary and the Party Chairman will each nominate a Candidate and the Members will decide which of these will become Party Leader.
