The Ambassador from A Dreamers World,
CONGRATULATING Lemmingtopias on his ascension to the WA Delegacy of Atlantis,
ACKOWLEDGING the free endorsement process in Atlantis,
CONCERNED that anyone could legally seize the Delegacy, even if inactive or a invader from abroad,
BELIEVING that the position of WA Delegate is a huge honour which should be granted to a nation that has contributed much to the region,
NOTING that the Princes of Atlantis are appointed such due to their contribution to Atlantis,
Hereby,
PETITIONS His Majesty the King to pass legislation limiting legitimate delegates of Atlantis to the Princes of Atlantis.

I second this position. It might be advisable to put a suggested target for endorsement (Lemmingtopias in this case, or put it up to vote) in the Regional Factbook as a standing policy.

I don't like the idea of people being told on the WFE to endorse me, it would limit the chance of other people becoming Delegate.
That said, I will be happy to compromise on the free endorsement policy by limiting it the Delegate to Princes, but I will wait a while to see if anyone objects and then make a decision based on the support eitherway.

How about we do the elections for "legitimate delegate" on this forum, that their chances won't be limited, they just have to go through proper channels. That gives us as a region the chance to vet people and limit the power of "invader delegates" - and then we can put the winner of the election in the WFE as a suggested/mandated endorsement. That way we don't wake up one morning to find Dicky Bob's Invader Corps now has control over Atlantis.
This policy would also promote this forum better and get our region's nations more involved.

Instead of an election a challenge system:
1. The Sitting WA Delegate can challenged for their position by any member of the region who has a minimum of 25% of the Delegates endorsement count. 2. The Head of State of the Region may either accept or decline the challenge. 3. If the challenge is accepted by the HOS, there shall be a vote commencing 2 days following the acceptance of the challenge which shall last for 3 days. 4. The winner becomes the Sitting Delegate, with the WFE updated to reflect who WA members should endorse.

On a related note.
I was thinking that the Delegate could challenge the King to the throne after holding the delegacy for 30 days, triggering an election between the two of them?

That's better than them automatically becoming king. If that was introduced I'd be less worried about keeping WA as it is, though maybe it should be 60 days
