On October 7th, 2018, I was elected Consul of the Commonwealth.
From dusk to dawn, I, Supreme Bakken of the Empire of Krogon, do solemnly swear to uphold the charter for as long as I live. For we do not just see a victory by one man, but a victory of freedom and a signification of the start of a new era.
I know, when you stepped to the ballot box and voted for either me or my oppositions, you were not voting for someone, you were voting for their policies, their views, and their leadership. We dare not forget that when I promised to uphold those promises, I will not disappoint, and if I do, hail to god, for I will part.
I let any nation know, whether opposed or with, that the moment I first stepped foot in the Commonwealth, I knew that I would let anyone lean on my shoulder, I would bear any burden, and I would oppose any challenge that steps in the way of liberty and justice.
As I stand here today, we stand united as one: brethren of the world, because if we divide, then there is little we can do to stop the spread of corruption and death. When united, we hold the power to overcome any hardship, end poverty, destroy others at will. And to those that come anew, I swear to you that tyranny will not overcome you, and we will welcome you with open arms to liberty.
I promise to protect the charter, unite the commonwealth, and stop the spread of injustice.

Let us be touched by the word of any holy power above us, whether absent or there, I assure you, that power is looking out for us.
Amen.
