On the 9th October, to mark the 37th Atlantiad, we will be holding a combat tournament for your best warriors to participate in.
The combatants will fight in two rounds.
1. The Baptism of Steel - All contestants fight against all until only two remain. Two or three combatants will be eliminated daily until only the final two are left. These two go through to the final.
2. The Duel - The final two candidates fight until one dies or yields. The winner is named the Champion of the King.
Some Important Notes:
1. You do not have to be from Atlantis to take part. All welcome!
2. You may use as many nations to put forward a champion as you like. Puppets welcome!
3. The first round will take place on the 9th and subsequent rounds each day.
4. We will use a scorinator and there will be bonuses for roleplay.
The winning Prize is 250 Drachmas and 1000 House Points.

So that I can fairly scorinate, and because there is no point being my own champion, I will not be participating. I wish all combatants good luck.
Just a note, in order to keep to the rounds described by dreamers we need at least 20 participants, which may be a little optimistic.
So if we don't get enough the rounds may be reordered or some eliminated.

I've edited Dreamers original post with some changes to the rounds. As follows:
Rounds 1-3 will be played in a random order decided by a dice throw. Round 4 is the Final Round.
Round 1: The Bull's Revenge - A test of strength. Those who fall off the bull fastest are out of the competition.
Round 2: The Killing Machine - A test of speed. Those who complete a gauntlet the fastest will go through to the next round.
Round 3: The Baptism of Steel - A test of flair. All against all combat. Those who survive go through to the next round.
Round 4: The Final Round combining speed, strength and flair. A one on one combat to decide the winner. Depending on numbers this could also incorporate a semi-final.

A little info on scorinating:
Scorination will be by throwing of dice. For the skill being tested, you will get 1 twelve sided dice per relevant skill point plus one six sided dice per roleplay point (so a maximum of three 12 sided dice and three six sided dice). The entrants that go through to the next round will be those that have the highest dice throws.
Rolepay bonuses will be calculated as follows: Every roleplay post (other than those posted in succession, without someone else posting inbetween) will be marked between 1 and 3. To get the total roleplay points per person, the total score of all your eligible posts will be divided by your total number of points. This number will be rounded to the nearest whole number to get your roleplay bonus.)
